Christy, a Bay Area native, graduated from California College of the Arts where she received a degree in Graphic Design and Visual Studies. She has worked for a number of creative studios and agencies specializing in branding, interaction design and packaging. Christy was most recently part of the Collins design team where she worked with clients such as Airbnb and Facebook.
Christy is inspired by the elegant simplicity of Japanese design, the chromatic interactions of Josef Albers, and the irreverence of the visionary Marcel DuChamp. But sometimes her inspiration comes in the form of overly stuffed burritos or overjoyed, wiggling dogs. It’s in these everyday moments that she remembers how essential life is to design, and vice versa.
When not designing Christy can be found obsessing over puzzles, eating oysters, or hanging out with her boo and dog Sherman.
